The effect of the VAT change on eParking's pricing
The general value added tax (VAT) in Finland will change from 24 percent to 25.5 percent starting in September. With the change, the VAT rate for the prices of electricity and parking spaces in the eParking system will change to the new VAT rate from September 1, 2024.

Housing association and parking lot charging of electric cars grew almost tenfold in two years. Tampere-based eParking's network already has more than 65,000 charging points in housing estates and parking areas across Finland. The charging volumes of electric cars using the network have increased from 2021 to 2023 almost tenfold.
