The general value added tax (VAT) in Finland will change from 24 percent to 25.5 percent starting in September. With the change, the VAT rate for the prices of electricity and parking spaces in the eParking system will change to the new VAT rate from September 1, 2024.

New high-power chargers for public electric vehicles in Tampere
Two 180 kW electric vehicle high-power chargers for public charging will be installed in the grounds of Tampere University of Applied Sciences along Kuntokatu. You can pay for charging with the eParking application, and in addition, a card payment feature is coming to high-power chargers. The eParking application is an application developed by Tampere-based IGL-Technologies Oy for charging and paying for parking. The high-power chargers are supplied by UTU Oy, and the chargers are installed by Vera in Tampere.
