What is CO₂ Cashback?

CO₂ is a service that allows owners of public electric vehicle charging points to earn money by participating in the commercialization of emission reductions.

In emissions trading, emission reductions resulting from charging an electric car are converted into credits that are sold to operators who are obliged to compensate for their emissions.

How does emissions trading work?

The eParking automatically collects data on charging. Based on the invoiced kWh, eParking combines the emission reductions of several charging point operators, takes care of reporting to the authorities, and sells them to fossil fuel suppliers. The income from emissions trading is distributed to the charging point operators in a pre-agreed proportion once a year.
