Asunto Oy Espoo Leppävaara Tower is one of Espoo's largest housing companies and the most in -house residential buildings. Slow electric car charging (8A -16A) increases the value of parking spaces and makes purchasing an electric car easier for residents. The change also benefits residents who do not yet have an electric car, as the Etolppa system can continue to heat the car with remote control. In the future, more efficient recharging points (11 kW+) can also be added to the system without the need for new systems.
Automated billing - no extra work for hosting
Electricity consumption billing is automatically handled by the user's credit card, which reduces the administrative work of hosting and house maintenance. In large housing companies, manual billing practices are often laborious and cost -increasing, so the automatic system brings significant savings. The use is based on consumption -based billing, which means that everyone only pays for their own electricity consumption. Residents who do not even use electricity to heat the car do not have to pay for the consumption of others severally - as many condominiums have traditionally been done.
The system was installed by Aro Systems Oy and the commissioning went fast. Users manage the system with the EParking application, which can easily control charging and heating on a mobile device.
Cost -effective investment for housing association and residents
The total cost of installing the Etolppa system was around € 320 per parking space, including VAT. For a housing company, the use of the system costs a small monthly fee that covers both billing and remote control. It is currently possible to get 35 % ARA support for investment, which makes it an economically attractive solution. The change allows the corporate consideration to decrease and the investment repayment period for the user is only a few years.
