Remotec developed a remotely controlled service package for the port, which is easy to implement in ports. The new service is a complete package that helps both tourism entrepreneurs and tourists. Remotec combines port services and remotely controlled electricity distribution points in its service so that the boating season can be extended both from the beginning and the end. In addition, the services can be used remotely, which makes it easier for both entrepreneurs and boaters. The boater reserves a berth in advance online. When he drives to the port, he no longer needs to go to the port's service point, but all services are immediately available to him. The service does not require a separate application, so it is easy to use. All that is needed is a payment card, a mobile device and a working network connection. If desired, the boater can also pay on site.
The port service point, in turn, does not need to be on standby: digitalizing the service frees up resources from the tourism entrepreneur for other activities. Remotely controlled RECO electricity distribution points enable payment for a boat berth and the provision of essential services remotely, if desired without personal contact, all year round and 24 hours a day. For the entrepreneur, the benefits of the service are already visible in the hottest season: when boat berth payments and electricity supply can be taken care of either in advance or on site through the same service, allowing staff to properly focus on customer service.
