Toas: Digital Parking Service for Students

TOAS , a student housing foundation in Tampere, offers its residents digital parking permits. TOAS has implemented our eParking service, which offers almost 2,500 parking spaces around Tampere.

Previously, residents had to rent a parking space by visiting the TOAS office. Now residents can reserve a space for themselves from the comfort of their own home. eParking can be conveniently used in a browser or in the app. The service can also be used to pay for a parking permit and change the registration number. Everything is handled electronically, from booking a parking permit to termination. The key to the heating device or access permit must still be collected from the TOAS office for the time being. 

“Collaboration with eParking is a great fit for TOAS and improves the service experience. Digitalization of parking space management is modern and makes our residents' everyday lives easier. On the other hand, it also frees up time and resources in the office for other important things,” says Kirsi Koski from TOAS.

Residents who had already rented a parking space were gradually transferred to eParking users. The first residents started using our service in November, and all permits were transferred to our service in June. 

TOAS aims to make students' everyday lives easier and provide excellent service. According to TOAS, both of these goals are met nicely in the eParking collaboration.
