Vaso's Property Manager Teppo Heinonen says that Vaso began investigating electric car charging options as part of Vaso's carbon neutrality efforts. Our eParking service emerged as the best solution for Vaso in the investigation. Although the service has not been in use for a long time, the benefits are already clearly visible, according to Heinonen. Vaso has been able to free up resources, especially from financial administration and property management, for other tasks, as the parking complex is managed digitally in our service.
Heinonen also emphasizes that using charging stations remotely is a significant convenience factor for residents. Residents can choose the parking space they want and take advantage of either car heating or charging as an additional service. Electricity consumption is charged according to actual consumption.
In Vaso's new developments and renovated properties, parking space reservations, heating pole management and payment have been implemented via the eParking application since 2019. In the service, residents can reserve and cancel their own parking space. All eParking spaces are subject to a fee, and the fee is determined by the type of parking space. Electricity used from the charging device is billed according to consumption. Charging electric cars is possible in all properties where eParking is in use, as the necessary equipment has been installed in these properties.
